The past week of brewery planning has been a whirlwind for the Resolute team.  Here are the highlights of our progress whilst we await the TTB process to run its course.

Let There Be Beer!

18kxhxpysd57fjpgNo…we haven’t started brewing…so you undercover TTB blog readers and call off the dogs.  Our head brewer and back-of-house manager have been working extremely hard on developing our core beer list as well as hops & grain contracts.

Since these recipes are stored in a top-secret vault right next to the real Coca Cola recipe, all we can say at this time is they are going to rock!

If you don’t believe me, then I guess you’ll have to come check them out in the taproom this Summer!

Design and ConstructionJ6eJqIHN

Our final construction documents were issued to the City of Centennial two weeks ago.  We received minor feedback and questions on the design and will be submitting for our building permit next week. Demolition and construction to follow!  A special thanks to our partners H+L Architecture on their stellar architectural design package!

What would a community taproom be with Chinese-built furniture?  That is why our team spent a significant amount of time this week meeting with two local furniture builders.  The Denver-metro area is definitely a hotbed of talented craftsmen (and women).  Furniture design and construction will begin in earnest next month!

We interviewed a number of sign companies and reviewed alternatives.  A RESOLUTE sign will be coming sooner than you know!

Taproom Manager

Thank you to everyone who applied for our Taproom Manager position.  We were truly blown away by the caliber and number of applicants.  We look forward to conducting interviews the next few weeks and adding one more to our #beResolute team!  Stay tuned for future beer-server openings!

During our point of sale (POS) research, one thing became exceedingly clear…very few small restaurants and breweries are 100% satisfied with their POS selection.  We researched over 20 different solutions and spent time in free trials and live demos with 6.  We feel our effort in selecting the right POS will save our serving staff time and their sanity in the future!

In the coming months, we plan on releasing an in-depth POS research blog post to assist any other breweries in planning with this less-than-enjoyable task.
