Concert season never ends for many of us, but summer is the undisputed champion of outdoor concerts. Sure, sure, everyone talks about Red Rocks (which really is an amazing place to experience your favorite bands) but Fiddler’s Green is also an awesome venue with one very distinct advantage: Proximity to us! Hooch Homies, consider RESOLUTE as your pre- and/or post-concert party headquarters. No tickets yet? Check out our concert and beer pairing recommendations; we hope they inspire your drinks and jams this summer.

Poison, with Cheap Trick and Pop Evil (Wednesday, May 23)

Poison?! What’s yours? Ours is, and always will be, craft beer. The endless range of flavors are no Trick either. Our brewers use the finest ingredients and then get weird – some may even say Evil – with them, to craft intense and unique flavors to ride shotgun with our traditional styles. We have three specialty releases coming your way, all which will make your mane stand up perfectly for some hair metal without all the Aqua Net.

  • Oaked ESB (5.5% ABV): A well balanced British Ale that has just a touch of oak to mimic the flavor of being served out of a wooden cask.
  • Kristal Weiss with Fresh Lemon Zest (5%ABV): All the banana and clove flavor you love from a Hefeweizen, without the haze and the addition of bright citrus.
  • Belgian Boysenberry Sour (6.9% ABV): A malty Dubbel base serves as a counterpoint to this dark, fruit-forward ale, that was soured to taste.

Sugarland, with Brandy Clark and Clare Bowen (Thursday, June 21)

We can turn on the creativity with our brews, but sometimes a more traditional beer style Just Might (Make Me Believe) that simplicity can be a beautiful thing. Don’t worry, we’re not Settlin,’ we’re getting ready for Something More. We Want To showcase how subtlety can make for an amazing beer experience without getting too fancy, much like a no-frills, award-winning country duo. Not only does our RESOLUTE Amber Lager (5.7% ABV) pair perfectly with country tailgates, sugar lovers will enjoy the subtle nod of caramel sweetness this beer packs, along with the silky-smooth flavors of toasted malt, and a slight hop aroma.

I Love the 90s – Vanilla Ice, Salt-N-Pepa, Montell Jordan, Biz Markie, Rob Base and DJ Kool (Saturday, June 23)

If we could crowler nostalgia and sell it, you’d be hearing 90’s tunes out of 32 oz. cans. Trailblazers, right? Unfortunately, due to current licensing laws and packaging methods, we can only crowler our beers for your enjoyment. So many of us love the 90s for the music, but we really love America’s wackiest decade for kicking off the IPA craze that led to the brew becoming this country’s most popular style. That’s why we’re pairing this concert with the RESOLUTE Double IPA (8.5% ABV). It’s a lighter, approachable IPA, featuring the citrus and piney flavors of Falconers Flight, Cascade, Mosaic and Idaho 7 hops. It’ll make you sing “THIS IS HOW WE DO IT!” better than Montell Jordan.

Colorado Symphony’s Family Friendly Fourth of July (Wednesday, July 4)

Classical music carries on for generations and isn’t going away soon. Milk Stout is a beer style that you’ll be bragging about to your grandkids one day, so it must be in the running for a classic style, right? The Centennial State’s very own Colorado Symphony continues to bring classical music to the masses; and for beer you don’t get any more Colorado, or classical, than our Milk Stout (4.0% ABV). A combination of Roasted Barley and Chocolate malt bring the roast to the party while a Munich malt base and lactose provide the counterpoint and rich, full mouthfeel.

Keith Urban with Kelsea Ballerini (Saturday, July 14)

Who has the best heads of blonde locks (natural or otherwise) this side of the Mississippi? Probably these two. Since Keith and Kelsea have the unassuming light locks look locked down, we recommend toasting to them with our Dry Hopped Practice Mode Blonde Ale (5% ABV). As musicians, they pack a serious talent punch and our blonde does the same compared to the light lagers of your country music concert past. This brew highlights a clean ale fermentation, light pilsner malts and a subtle, citrus hop punch from a modest Manadarina Bavaria addition at the end of the boil.

Lost 80s Live – A Flock of Seagulls, Wang Chung, Naked Eyes, Men Without Hats, etc. (Sunday, August 12)

We already used up all our follicle jokes, but one blast from the past who was no joke is the incomparable David Hasselhoff – and his famous 80s farewell serenade to the Berlin Wall. We can’t give you The Hoff, but we can give you something close: The Heff, aka the RESOLUTE Hefeweizen (4.5% ABV). A beautiful hazy, straw-colored, refreshing German wheat beer with high carbonation, a delectable dry finish, a fluffy mouthfeel and a distinctive banana-and-clove yeast character, it’s unfiltered and traditional in every sense of the Bavarian style.

Slayer, with Lamb of God, Anthrax, Testament and Napalm Death (Saturday, August 18)

Get ready to let your hair down, stretch your neck muscles and let fly the most glorious windmill anyone has ever witnessed. If the dark side beckons you, pair this concert with the RESOLUTE Porter (5.7% ABV). A moderate-strength traditional style Porter with a restrained roasty character and bitterness, it has a subtly robust profile of chocolate, coffee, caramel and a roasted malty presence. With its silky black pour and creamy tan head, it will sooth even Tom Araya, Joey Belladonna, Chuck Billy and Barney Greenway’s most scorched vocal cords.

Bring your same-day Fiddler’s concert ticket in for $1 off full pours of each pairing, or any of your favorite RESOLUTE brews. View the full show schedule, and buy tickets, here.
